It will NOT be time for shorts to be worn at school yet when we return from Spring Break.
Mr. Pratt & Mrs. McCoy (Rolling Hills’ own Springtime version of Punxsutawney Phil?!?) have consulted the upcoming weather forecast and it doesn’t look like the weather is consistently warm enough to have the kids wear shorts to school… yet.
Watch for an email to come when they announce to the kids that its time (or maybe you will just know when you hear the super loud cheer).
Just a quick thought for when shorts are appropriate uniform attire in a few weeks… children grow. As kids grow through the school year, sometimes skirts and shorts that fit in the Fall are now too short or too snug in the Spring. Skirts and shorts need to be “finger-tip length” to meet our dress code requirements. That means the bottom of the skirt or the leg of the short needs to be at or below the fingertips. Please take time to check for modest length and fit on springtime uniform pieces. A full copy of the RHPCS dress code is attached for your reference.
Thank you for your help on this matter as we work to keep the kids comfortable in our very changeable Idaho Spring weather.
