Rolling Hills Public Charter School
RHPCS 8th Grade Families,
It is hard to believe that it is time to get serious about considering your child’s high school placement… but it really is. I will forward information about various school opportunities as they come to me.
If you are considering Compass Charter High School as an option for your child, please see the information below and attached regarding their lottery application timing and process. Rolling Hills’ 8th grade students benefit by an agreement that we have in place with Compass which allows RHPCS students’ priority pool placement for 9th grade during their lottery process. The deadline is early, so even if you aren’t sure that Compass is your first choice, you don’t miss your window to apply and be included in the lottery drawing pool (December 3, 2018 – Feb 11, 2019).
Rolling Hills has a similar agreement with North Star Charter School and Sage International. I will also forward that information when it becomes available.

Book Fair $5 Free Dress Day Opportunity!
Donate $5.00 to the “All for Books” Campaign during the Book Fair and you will receive a “Free Dress Day” pass that can be used on Friday November 16. The money raised buys books for our school and Scholastic matches every dollar raised and provides books to children in need. Last year the funds we raised Scholastic matched and helped families and schools devastated by the hurricanes replace books that were lost. 'All For Books' means Books for All!
