Tuesday, May 3rd
Teachers will be surprised when they come to school on Teachers Day, May 3th, with the classroom doors decorated with special drawings and notes from the kids. We are thinking a learning tree theme this year! We will be sending templates home with the students to decorate, make notes on, etc. that will be used to decorate each classroom door. The templates are to be returned anytime between now and May 2nd by placing them in the large yellow envelopes with “shapes” written on it, taped to each classroom door. Please volunteer to decorate the doors after school on May 2nd by logging into Sign-up Genius (one parent for each classroom needed).

Wednesday, May 4th
Gift Card Day! Anytime between now and Wednesday, May 4th, please drop off a gift card or small gift at the front desk with Mrs. Friend. The teachers greatly appreciate gift cards to food/coffee places and/or school supply stores, such as Walmart, Amazon, Boise School Supply, etc. Even something made by the kids at home would mean so much to themJ The teachers will be given their gifts at the end of the school day. Both Teachers and Educational Assistants (EA’s) will be included in this activity.
Thursday, May 5th
Students are asked to bring in a special flower, candy and/or personal note for their teacher(s). Baskets will be in the classrooms near the door, so your student can just drop in off as they come in the morning.
Friday, May 6th (No School for Students this Day – RHPCS Staff Professional Development Day)
Provide Mexican themed lunch dishes for our staff who will be participating in professional development activities on Friday, May 6th. Please volunteer to donate items on Sign-up Genius.
