Root 4 Green Garden Club
Gardening offers hands-on, experiential learning opportunities in a wide array of disciplines, including the natural and social sciences, math, language arts and nutrition. The educational benefits of school gardens are clear. In addition, gardening staves off blues, provides an outlet for creativity, and nurtures a sense of pride and accomplishment when you harvest. Mrs. Beznoska, Rolling Hill’s own 1st grade teacher extraordinaire, will be facilitating this afterschool club and looks forward to igniting student enthusiasm for our Root 4 Green school garden.
Beginning Tuesday, September 4, Root 4 Green Club will be held on Tuesdays from 2:40 – 3:30 p.m. The Fall session of Root 4 Green Club will continue weekly on school-in-session Tuesdays until November 13, 2018, unless otherwise announced. There will be a Spring session of Root 4 Green Garden Club, expected to begin the first week of March 2019. Watch for those details to come nearer the spring re-start date.
