Wow! A huge “Thank you” goes out to our PFA and Mr. Lopez and all those that made our Spring Program & Fundraising Auction possible. What a fantastic evening of fun, entertainment, and generosity! We are waiting for some final calculations, but are pleased to announce that through your support the event raised more than $6500 toward our Playground Improvements Campaign. Woo Hoo!
The PFA invites you to come find out more about the proposed Playground Improvements and be part of the improvement decision making process. The PFA will be meeting specifically about Playground Improvements details on Wednesday, April 4 at 6;15 p.m. at Rembrandts in Eagle. Spirit Days – March 20-23, 2018 - Show your school spirit by participating in theme-dress days!
Tons of fun continues at Rolling Hills this week as our RHPCS Student Council kids have planned “Spirit Days” for the rest of this week, March 20-23. Students choosing to participate in dressing for the theme of the day may wear clothing outside of dress code. Anyone not participating is expected to be wearing regular school dress code clothing.
Tuesday – Pajama Day – Be comfy all day, come in your favorite PJs
Wednesday – Decades Day – Come dressed in the style from your favorite decade
Thursday – Team Day – Show your team spirit by wearing the your team colors, jersey, or uniform for your favorite team (but maybe not those Oregon Ducks, Mr. Pratt)
Friday – Crazy Hair Day – Go wild and show us some great hairdos.
“Fill the Piggie” 3rd Grade Community Service Project benefitting Make-A-Wish Foundation
Send in some pocket change with your student this week and let them join in on the fun of our Coin Drive/Penny War.
Here’s the scoop: Nickels = 5 points each, Dimes = 10 points each, Quarters = 25 points, $1 = 100 points, Pennies are Negative points (so those get dropped into another class’ pig - that’s what makes it a war!)
At the end of this week, all the points will be tallied and the classroom with the most points will win a Popsicle Pig Out Party and Extra Recess.
All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation so that Rolling Hills can help to fulfill the dream of a child suffering from a significant illness.
3rd quarter ends this Friday, March 23 – Watch for report cards to come home with students on April 6, the Friday after we return from Spring Break.
Spring Break March 26 – 30, 2018 – No school for students and staff. School resumes on Monday, April 2.
