Upcoming Events & Dates at Rolling Hills
Now – May 18 – BoxTop collection challenge - We will be offering one last Boxtops collection challenge to encourage submitting BoxTops before the end of the school year. Two classes (one elementary and one middle school) will be winning a free dress day and popsicle party for having the most Boxtops for the year! Please encourage your students to bring in any Boxtops they have! We will announce the winning classes on Monday, May 21 and the free dress day and party will be Wednesday May 23rd.
Fri. May 4 – Spring Program “Fund-A-Need Free Dress Day”. Didn’t buy a pass during the Spring Program? It’s not too late to support the PFA’s Playground Improvement campaign by buying your student a free dress day for 5/16. Pre-purchase your Free Dress Day pass by Thursday, May 3 by bringing in to the front office $5 per pass, cash or check payable to RHPCS PFA.
Fri, May 4 – 2nd grade field trip to Foothills Learning Center & Camelsback Park
May 7 – 11 – Teacher Appreciation Week - The PFA will be hosting / sponsoring Teacher Appreciation events and activities throughout the week. Please watch for a SignUpGenius opportunity to come asking for your support to provide specified items or help with set up, serving, or clean up for an activity still in the works.
Tues. May 8 – STEM Revolution visit at RHPCS w/schoolwide assembly and STEM Bus mobile lab on site.
Tues. May 8 – RHPCS Fundraiser Night at Busters in Eagle – Enjoy a delicious meal at Busters between 11am – 9pm on Tues. May 8 and 20% of your bill will be donated to RHPCS. Now that is a delicious Win-Win!
Wed. May 9 – Teacher Appreciation card/gift day. Students are encouraged to show their appreciation for teachers and classroom assistance with a personal note, card, or small gift today.
Wed. May 9 – Last session of RHPCS STEM Club
Thurs. May 10 – RHPCS May School Board Meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the RHPCS Café. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
Thurs. May 10 – Final day to submit your “vote” for playground structure preference.

SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES AT RHPCS
Back Gate Studio’s Summer Art Camp at Rolling Hills, June 18-22, 2018 9:30 a.m – 12:00 p.m. For children ages 6- 14. Experience: drawing, watercolor, acrylic on canvas, food art, collage, print making, sidewalk chalk art, and textile art. Children will develop their creative skills, learn new techniques, build self-esteem, and stimulate their imaginations as they express themselves through art. Camp Invention Summer Camp at Rolling Hills, June 25-29, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. For children entering Kinder – 6th grades. Innovation, creative problem-solving and teamwork are important at Camp Invention. Young innovators will spend their time: brainstorming, exploring, constructing and personalizing, and discovering. Great curriculum will be led by experienced local educators and is full of exciting activities and take-home items to keep the fun going all year long. Summer Food Service Programs - Since hunger doesn't take a summer vacation, a variety of local programs help fill the hunger gap.
