Located in Boise, Idaho we educate children Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Rolling Hills is a Harbor Method school and subscribes to the belief that a school with a low threat of bullying and harassment can accelerate the learning of students.

Rolling Hills Public Charter School’s mission is to develop educated and engaged citizens through high expectations for student behavior and academic success in a small, safe, structured environment.

Monday – Friday, March 2-6, 2015 – Themed-dress School Spirit Days. Students choosing to participate in dressing for the theme of the day may wear clothing outside of dress code.  Anyone not participating is expected to be wearing regular school dress code clothing.

Monday, March 2 – Join us as we celebrate literacy on Dr. Seuss’s birthday!.  Idaho’s First Lady Lori Otter will visiting Rolling Hills at 1:30 p.m. to address literacy and introduce the first “Idaho Day” on March 4.  “Dress up as a Story Book Character Day” –Cat in the Hat, Peter Pan, Where’s Waldo, Little Red Riding Hood, and so many more…dress up as your favorite children’s book character.  Check out this website for some fun ideas to get you thinking:  http://www.buzzfeed.com/jreeve/childrens-book-characters-born-to-be-halloween-costumes#.inMgAql01g

Tuesday, March 3 - “Mirror, Mirror Day”- Dress matching with your friends.  How close to matching outfits can you and your friends get?

Wednesday, March 4 – “Idaho Sports Day” – Dress up to cheer on your favorite Idaho sports team.  BSU Broncos, Idaho Vandals, Rolling Hills Tigers, high school teams, or your local team – let’s show our Idaho team spirit!

Thursday March 5 - “Blast from the Past Day”- Dress up in an outfit from days gone by. Flashback to your favorite era ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s or even further back.

Friday, March 6 – “International Dress Day” – Celebrate other countries and cultures by dressing up in a costume of traditional dress.

Wednesday, March 4, 2015 – RHPCS celebrates Idaho Day.  Rolling Hills’ 4th grade class will be leading the celebration of the first Idaho Day.  There will be activities and presentations for Idaho Day.  Also, an assembly to honor Idaho Day.  The Student Council at Rolling Hills also is dedicating March 4th for Idaho Day to dress up at school as your favorite Idaho Sports team.  That includes, but is not limited to, Boise State Broncos, Idaho Vandals, Idaho State Bengals, The Idaho Hawks (baseball), Idaho Stampede (Basketball), Idaho Steelheads (hockey) or any Idaho sports that children play like AAU basketball, optimist football or soccer, gymnastic, dance.  Click here to read the Governor’s proclamation about Idaho’s 1st annual Idaho Day:  Idaho’s First Idaho Day Celebration – March 4

Monday, March 16, 2015 – Kids Night Out at RHPCS 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. – The 8th Grade class, lead by the Student Council is hosting a Kids Night Out Fundraiser, a childcare opportunity for RHC families. .  Drop off your kids for a fun night of movies, games and activities!  Cheese pizza, veggies sticks, drink & cookie will be provided.
